The first Lenovo ThinkPhone launched last year as a business-oriented phone with a design inspired by the company's ThinkPad laptops and the guts of a decent phone like those offered by Lenovo subsidiary Motorola.

Now it looks like the company is preparing to launch a follow-up, but it may not arrive until next year and according to leaked info published by Android Headlines, the ThinkPhone 2025 could bring some interesting changes.

Motorola is allegedly bringing the ThinkPhone back, this time with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor (the original had a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip). Other features are expected to include a 6.36 inch pOLED LTPO display with a resolution of 2670 x 1200 pixels and adaptive refresh rates up to 120 Hz, a 4,310 mAh battery, a 68W charger, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It also adds a 3x telephoto camera.

Purism Releases STEP File for Librem 5 [Purism]

Purism releases the STEP file for the Librem 5, a 3D model file with information about the Linux smartphone's mechanical components. Odds are most folks aren't going to have the resources to build their own Librem 5 from scratch using these files – theoretically that's possible, but if you thought a pre-made phone was expensive, you ain't seen nothing. But the STEP file could aid folks looking into in repair or third-party mods.

One-NetBook reveals the price of its new OneXGPU 2 [@OneXplayer_]

The next version of One Netbook's external GPU is expected to feature an AMD Radeon RX 7800M GPU. But it won't be cheap, with prices starting at $839 during crowdfunding, and that's only for folks that back the campaign in the first four days. After that it jumps to $899. At that price you might be better off just buying a gaming laptop or desktop PC with a decent discrete GPU. 

A crowdfunding campaign for the ONEXGPU 2 is set to begin September 26 at noon Eastern Standard Time. 

MINISFORUM's Strix Point Mini PC is on the way [MINISFORUM / Weibo]

MINISFORUM is working on a mini PC with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor with Radeon 890M integrated graphics and a 50 TOPS NPU. The upcoming MINISFORUM EliteMini AI370 will join recently announced models from Beelink and AOOSTAR.
